3 Acne Treatments | Progress in Her 30s
A doctor at Oganacell Dermatology Clinic explains the treatment progress of one woman in her 30s who struggled with acne and breakouts while wearing a mask. Her treatment 1. Prescription oral medication to control sebum 2. A combination of 2–3 lasers selected based on her skin condition and response 3. At-home care outside the clinic using a recovery cream She visited about once every 2 months and did not take the oral medication as scheduled. Even so, in her case, the severe inflammation began to subside after 3 treatments. This video shows her progress through the 3rd treatment. Her progress after the final, 10th treatment is not included here and will be shown in Episode 3. Treatment is selected for each person after a doctor’s examination. Do not take prescription medication based on your own judgment; always consult a doctor. Progress and results vary from person to person. The severe pandemic-era breakout I showed you last time
A woman in her 30s whose skin broke out under her mask
I'll be honest with you
She actually didn't follow all my instructions
Even so, after 3 treatments her severe inflammation subsided
Why did her skin improve without following every instruction?
There were 3 key points
First: keep taking the prescription medicine that controls sebum
To control the “source” of her recurring acne
For her, this medicine was essential
Second—and this was key: at each visit
We didn't perform the same treatment
We tailored it to her skin and its response
We combined 2–3 types of laser treatment
The plan addressed more than surface acne, it also worked from within
Third: at-home care outside the clinic
To restore the barrier disrupted after treatment
I recommended applying recovery cream every day
She was busy, so she came in about once every 2 months
She also said she wasn't taking her medicine on schedule
Well… if she'd just followed this, it might have improved even more
By the 10th and final session
You're curious how her skin changed, right?
The emotional final update will be revealed in Episode 3, the finale
